To preceed planetary notes, this is a whole galaxy. Containing (Currently) 4 planets, 5 satellites, 1 artificial stations, and 3 stars.
Galactic traits:
The Stygean Galaxy is a relatively undeveloped section of space home to a relatively unusual setup. There are three main stars at the heart of the system, two of which are in the yellow phase, relatively small and sustaining life, with 3 planets orbiting in a figure 8 between the two, and the final star, a rare white giant star. This is a white dwarf star, that instead of shrinking and dying into a black dwarf, regrew in size and sheds enormous energy, acting as a hyper potent star. The flares alone can temporarily short out most electronics. There are two things orbiting the white giant, a dead planet and a space station.
The denizens of the system refer to these stars as Algorax and Salgorax (The Twin Stars), and Hyperia (White).
Planets orbiting the Twin Stars have varied daylight hours, from 12/12 to 24/0, depending on position. On either side of one star, it's 12 day 12 night, between both stars it is entirely daylight.
PLANETS:
Name:Baplurin
Size: Small
World Type: Barren
Population: Assumed 0
Government: N/A
Other features/notes: Dead planet orbitting Hyperia, the White Giant Star. When the star hit it's current stage, the light it shed eviscerated all life on the planet with raw heat and power it sheds. Some denizens lived for a few extra hours by hiding on the dark side of the planet, and a few mad theorists believe that there are still those living underneath the surface, but the popular idea is that the entire planet and all those who lived there are burned to extinction, leaving nothing but ruins. There is one moon-esque satellite orbiting.
Name: Alpha Station
Size: Space Station
World Type: Self-Sustaining Satellite Station
Population: 200
Government: Position based.
Other features/notes: Scientific research is the primary goal here. This is the first major space expedition of the system, with the goal of harnessing the solar power in Hyperia. Primary discoveries so far are a means of blocking them via Solar Shields to contain the heat released by the star and use it to assist in the producing plant life in the green house and other goals. Full control is as of yet out of their reach.
Name: Kalina en' Coia
Size: Moderate
World Type: 60% water, 30% plains/forests, 10% cityscape
Population: 15,000,000-20,000,000.
Government: Oligarchy (Ruled by a shamanistic sect of "High Born", recognizable by being born with an "eye" birthmark on either palm.)
Other features/notes: Having just recently reached it's information age, Kalina en Coia' orbits the twin stars. Primarily home to humanoid races, specifically elf and orc variants. They have achieved a tense peace, wherein those born with the All Seeing Eye are taken to the capital and taught in the Symbologist ways, and in general considered to be of a higher caste. There are a few off shoot anarchist branches that believe each race is superior, but they are generally kept in control. The primary portion of the population is land dwelling, but there are minor aquatic settlements as well due to evolutionary divergences. There is one moon-esque satellite orbiting.
Name: Naur Ar' Gurtha
Size: Medium
World Type: Volcanic, barren
Population: 10,000,000
Government: Loose Oligarchy.
Other features/notes: The planet of Fire, Naur Ar' Gurtha is covered in volcanos and lava vents and has been the recent target of terraforming efforts from residents of Kalina En' Coia. There are two primary "bubbles" of habitable land held safe from the harsh open atmosphere and natural dangers by science and magic alone. Beyond the natural dangers there are countless monsters and rumors of deep cavern systems leading the clusters of demi-sentient, feral beasts, far below the planet's crust. The anarchist groups from Kalina En' Coia, while they attempted to keep them out of the terraforming project, have leaked in and tend to cause trouble on the planet. Naur Ar' Gurtha has no orbiting satellites.
Name: Arrna
Size: Small
World Type: Water (Entirely)
Population: Unknown to most, roughly 30,000.
Government: Egalitarianism (All things equal, above all else)
Other features/notes: The planet is populated by "Deep Ones", amphibious beings that are distinctly advanced in sciences. They are very secluded though, and only about three in the last 50 years have actually left the planet. All three of which are assisting on the Alpha Station. Arrna is orbited by 3 moons, making the water's surface very dangerous to be near, at times.
